Juliane OTTERBACH

Juliane OTTERBACH runs a small creative studio in London. She has worked on a variety of publishing and design projects for over a decade, including guide books, design titles and magazines.

Juliane started making her own flipbooks in 2001 when she launched the hand-made PORNOGRAPHICS series. Of this series she self-published two titles which were shortlisted for the ’golden thumb’ at the first international Flipbook festival in 2004 at Akademie Schloss Solitude. In 2005 she created her quirky Schadenfreude flipbooks which was published in the UK and has been an international success. (In German : Schaden = harm et Freude = joy).
