This flip book collection is a tribute to the pioneers of early filmmaking. It includes 10 "cinemagic" flip books, each triggering 6 different animations depending on the position of your thumb, which means that all together you'll have 60 original film sequences.

Each edition also features a two-minutes augmented reality micro-documentary with more information about each artist's life, their background and their most outstanding works, which can be viewed through your personal smartphone or tablet (instructions on the box).

How does it works?

An ingenious cutting edge of pages allows to see only some images depending on where the thumb strips off (top, middle and bottom).

This system has already been used several years ago by Etienne LECROART in his flipbook PAT ET TIC > or MOHIKEN with KALI THE LITTLE VAMPIRE >

AUGMENTED REALITY

These flipbooks come with an Augmented Reality feature, that you can visualize when scanning the front cover with your smartphone or tablet: a 3 minutes micro-documentary about those pioneers' lifes, their background and their most outstanding work. To access the AR content, simply scan the QR code included on the slipcase, install the ArtiviveApp, open it and view the flip book on your screen.
