Evoland was created by Nicolas CANNASSE for Ludum Dare #24. For those who haven't heard about it, the Ludum Dare is an online game jam where individuals or teams compete to create the best game possible on a set theme, in under 48 hours.

The game ended up winning the competition (out of 1400 games) and quickly gathered a very dedicated and enthusiastic fan base, reaching over 300000 players in the first few months after its release. (You can charge the original game here >)

Evoland is a time lapse of early action RPG history, taking players on a journey through technological and gameplay advances as they make progress through the game.
