ROSTO

ROSTO was a Dutch artist, director, illustrator and musician.
From Beheaded to Reruns, through his graphic novel Mind My Gap >, each of his work is an initiatory journey between reality an imagination, in a rock atmosphere.
ROSTO was attached to turning hid dreamed worlds into images, with graphical and cinematic techniques in a constant renewal.
Music, especially with his band Thee Wreckers, was always the driving force of his work. He composed the music in all his films and The residents, Terry GILLIAM, The Do and Tom WAITS have lent their voices for the soundtrack oh his medium lenght film The Monster of Nix >.
In 2018 he concluded his musical tetralogy named Thee Wreckers Tetralogy in wich the members of his band are incarnated in the form of animated spirits, of which you will find two extracts in this flip-book>.
ROSTO passed away on March 7th 2019...
