An old lady lives alone with her cow and is keeper of a level crossing on a disused road. She overcomes her solitude by doting on her beloved cow and playing the violin. Until the day she decides to stop the passing trains...

Based on a scenario by Géraldine BOUDOT, who has a number of documentaries and fiction films to her name, this film evokes the solitude of those people who have been left on the wayside of a world that is moving too fast for them.

Using CGI paper cut outs and consciously "digital" graphics wich clash with the traditional images of the countryside, Hugo FRASSETTO plunges the old lady into a world that she does not understand.

For his first film after graduating from LA POUDRIÈRE in Bourg-lès-Valence (France), this youg animator combines humour and melancholy in this quirky parable about passing time...
