a collective book (England - 2007)

A selection of the unique artworks created by international animation artists as prizes for the British Animation Awards (known as BAA, like the sound a sheep makes).

The idea was that each award-winner receives something absolutely unique, that they can really cherish : a new artwork created especially for each edition by an inspirationnal fellow-artist/animator, featuring... sheep !

From this eccentric but demanding brief, an extraordinary range of artworks have flowed, using a variety of media : drawing, paint, collage, sculpture, mixed-media and new technologies, demonstrating the artists’ creativity and wit, and celebrating the enormous diversity of artistic talent at work in contemporary animation.
